
Local Lifeline Fund
Terms & Conditions
1. Eligibility:
- The Fund can only be applied for by active Nisa supplied retailers (cannot be on stop or leaving Nisa)
- Support is available for causes affected by a natural disaster (e.g. flood, storm) or human-related incident (e.g. accident/incident, fire, etc) within the community.
- The incident must have occurred within a 10-mile radius of the applying retailer.
- All usual MADL Donation Guidelines apply
- Funding is only available to causes active within the UK.
2. Funding Limitations:
- A maximum of £500 per cause may be awarded.
- Each retailer cannot receive funding more than once within a 6-month period.
3. Retailer Requirements:
- The retailer must be active and compliant with MADL's Donations Policy.
- The retailer is responsible for putting the application into the MADL website, it must provide thorough answers to ensure the application may be assessed by Nisa Community Ambassadors.
- The retailer will be provided with a personalised poster and social media asset to promote the donation by MADL.
- The retailer must collect photos and a statement from the cause explaining how the fund has helped, to be used for promotional and accountability purposes.
4. Application & Approval:
- Funding is subject to approval based on need and availability, to be approved by NISA Community Ambassadors; their decision is final.
- The Local Lifeline Fund reserves the right to decline applications that do not meet the criteria.
5. Use of Funds:
- Funds must be used directly for recovery and relief purposes related to the incident.
- Misuse of funds may result in exclusion from future support.
By applying for the Local Lifeline Fund, applicants and retailers agree to these terms.
What the Fund is NOT for:
• The fund is not to be used for:
- Celebrating store openings or business anniversaries.
- Social activities or entertainment events in the community.
- Routine community events.
• It is solely for emergencies arising within the community that could not have been foreseen.
