Strawberries and cream... with a twist
Wimbledon has arrived and there’s NO better way to celebrate an ACE occasion than with strawberries and cream treats.
Try these tasty twists on a classic and have a ball this Wimbledon - make sure you don’t scrimp on the cream!
Eton Mess

We won’t (Eton) mess about - this dish is a top dessert destined to impress the whole family. Fact.
What you’ll need:
- 6 ready-made meringues
- 570ml Heritage double cream
- 450g strawberries
How to make:
- Wash and cut up the strawberries in half
- Whisk the cream and stir in the strawberries
- Crush the meringues (a great task for the kids to get involved with!)
- Add to the mix and stir thoroughly
- Serve your Eton mess in dishes and decorate with extra strawberries or strawberry sauce
Top tip: For a grown-up twist, soak your strawberries in 75ml port or Cointreau for 2-3 hours beforehand
The Wimbledon Waffle

So simple, you won’t even need a recipe. Get some ready-made waffles, toast or grill ‘em and add washed & chopped strawberries and cream. Score!
Ice pops SERVED in no time

This cool dessert idea is super easy - and a great one for the kids to help make, too! This one needs the overnight fridge fairies to work their magic, so make sure you plan ahead so it’s ready for your Wimbledon celebrations.
What you’ll need:
- 15 Heritage strawberries
- 1 large Heritage banana
- 125ml orange juice
- Ice lolly moulds
How to make:
- Add all the ingredients to a blender. Whip up at a high speed for around two minutes
- Pour the mixture into the moulds and leave in the freezer overnight
