Choc Chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • 225g Heritage unsalted butter, softened
  • 110g Caster sugar
  • 275g Heritage plain flour
  • 75g Milk Chocolate Chips 

Method

  1. Preheat the oven at 170°C or gas mark 3.
  2. Cream the butter in a large bowl or in a food mixer until soft. Add the sugar and beat until light and fluffy.
  3. Sift the flour into the mixture and add the chocolate chips. Fold the flour in to the batter until all mixed in.
  4. Using your hands, make walnut sized balls and place them slightly apart from each other on a lined tray. Flatten the balls and bake them in the oven for about 15 mins until golden brown and slightly firm on top.
  5. Place the cookies onto a cooling rack and leave them there for around 15 mins then serve once cooled.
