Jempson’s were initially sceptical about the introduction of the Co-op own brand into their stores upon the Co-op’s acquisition of Nisa. However, it cannot be denied that the introduction of the wider Co-op range has improved our margin performance across the business. The Co-op own brand range alongside Jempson’s own branding, has pushed our own brand participation across both brands to well over 50% of sales which is very encouraging.
