Bowkett’s supports local arts and theatre programme with £1,000 donation

The local store, based in Market Square, donated the funds to the Trust through Nisa’s Making a Difference Locally charity, which raises funds for local communities simply by customers purchasing selected products in-store.

Bowkett’s General Manager, Glenys Holdcroft commented: “Supporting The Regal with these funds has enabled them to further invest in our children’s arts and theatre programmes, bringing professional theatre, arts, events, movies and children’s activities into our local community.

“As a theatre and cinema, The Regal receives no major sponsorship and relies heavily on their volunteer base, so we are delighted to be able to help them to continue their valuable service to the community with this donation.”

A recent post from The Regal Tenbury Wells Facebook page said: “The Regal would like to say a huge thank you to Bowkett's, Tenbury Wells for sponsoring our community musical, The Wizard of Oz, through their Nisa Making a Difference Locally campaign. Glenys Holdcroft from Bowkett's made the presentation during one of our rehearsals.

“A musical such as Wizard is a huge financial commitment to showcase the talents, hard work, effort and dedication of the local community, and Bowkett's faith and trust in us to spend the money well and invest back into the community is appreciated by us.”

Bowkett’s has donated over £20,000 to local causes through Making a Difference Locally to date. To help support causes in your area look for Heritage own label products or branded products highlighted with the MADL logo in-store, or donate using the dedicated Making a Difference Locally collecting tins.
