Nisa’s charity celebrates outstanding community efforts of retailers

Nisa’s Making a Difference Locally charity is celebrating some of the symbol group’s most community-focussed retailers with a campaign to mark their milestone donations.

As part of Nisa’s first ever virtual Nisa Expo, retailers that have supported good causes with over £10,000 through Making a Difference Locally to date will be sent rosette graphics to display in-store, highlighting to customers the outstanding charitable support provided to good causes in their community.

A total of 39 Nisa partners will receive recognition as part of the initiative, with donation milestones ranging from £10,000 up to a huge £90,000. Collectively, these retailers have donated almost £1.5m to local causes through the MADL charity since 2008.

Nisa retailers play a huge role at the centre of their communities and have provided an incredible level of support

The Making a Difference Locally team will be speaking with the retailers as part of this year’s Nisa Expo to learn more about their community engagement and will be celebrating their achievements on social media in the weeks following the event.

Kate Carroll, Nisa’s Head of Charity, said: “Nisa retailers play a huge role at the centre of their communities and have provided an incredible level of support to local good causes though Making a Difference Locally alone over the last 12 years."

“With this campaign we wanted to celebrate the fantastic donation milestones that some of our most engaged community-focussed partners have achieved and highlight how they have truly made a difference for their local area, and recognise now, more than ever, the valuable contribution independent retailers provide to their communities.”
