Nisa store supports Barts hospital charity

A Nisa Local store in Aldgate East, London Borough of Tower Hamlets has donated £400 to Barts Charity to help improve healthcare in East London.

The convenience store, owned by Mr Koroglu and situated on Commercial Road Aldgate East, made the £400 donation via Nisa’s Making a Difference Locally charity.

The donation will help Barts Charity in their important work in improving healthcare in East London, through their support of important research, and funding for the five hospitals in Barts Health Trust including equipment, research and support for patient, relative and staff wellbeing.

We hope the donations will help provide improved healthcare in East London, and we would like to thank our customers!

Nisa’s Making a Difference Locally charity was established to support local communities, allowing Nisa-affiliated retailers to support local causes that matter to them with charitable donations. Every time a customer purchases an item from the Co-op or Heritage own brand ranges in-store, a proportion of the cost is added to the store’s charity fund, to be donated to a local good cause.

Mr Koroglu, owner of the Nisa Local store, said: “We are pleased to be able to use our Making a Difference Locally funds to support Barts Charity."

"We hope the donations will help provide improved healthcare in East London, and we would like to thank our customers for their continued support, through the purchases of own brand products in our stores, as without their support these community donations would not be possible."
