Two Nisa retailers team up to provide 1,500 meals for homeless people in Warrington

Nisa Dallam Stores and Nisa Locking Stumps have teamed up to donate £500 each to the Guru Nanak Temple through Nisa’s Making a Difference Locally (MADL) charity.

The funding will be used to provide 1,500 hot meals for homeless people in Warrington throughout the winter months. The donations are part of MADL’s Heart of the Community winter warmers initiative, which supports local communities across the UK this winter.

The meals will be prepared and distributed every Sunday at the Guru Nanak Temple.

Kate Carroll, Head of Charity at Nisa, said: “It is wonderful to see two passionate community retailers supporting their community in this way, not only through a cash donation but helping with food preparation. Both stores are community assets, and this funding will help a lot of people throughout the tough winter months.”
