Co-op’s Ever Ground hot drinks brand rolls out to Nisa partners

Co-op’s ethically sourced, hot drinks brand, Ever Ground is being rolled out to Nisa partners, allowing independent retailers to strengthen their food and drink to go offer.

The Ever Ground brand will offer all 100% Fairtrade products including Fairtrade coffee, Fairtrade hot chocolate, Fairtrade sugar and the iconic Fairtrade Co-op99 tea, at a great price. Underpinned by the ethical and sustainable credentials of Co-op, Ever Ground will have its own look and feel.

First introduced to partners at the Nisa Live Spring partner event in March, Ever Ground has this month begun rolling out across both Co-op and Nisa following a successful trial period in a small number of Co-op stores.

With four different options of the concept to choose from, ranging from counter-top units to a store within a store style kiosk, the Ever Ground solution has an offer to suit every type of retailer and business.

Ayaz Alam, Trading Director at Nisa, said: “With its unique Fairtrade proposition, distinctive branding and good profit margins, Ever Ground has fantastic potential for Nisa partners’ businesses.

What’s more, it is ethically sourced, made with Fairtrade coffee beans and with recyclable cups made from recycled materials.

Our partners have many different types of stores and so Ever Ground has different formats available, ensuring there is a solution to fit the proposition of every store.

It’s brilliant that Nisa partners can now offer a Fairtrade option at great value, so their customers can feel even better knowing they are helping to protect people and planet. It’s a real point of difference for the independent convenience sector.”

Fairtrade is the only scheme in the UK that guarantees a fair price for farmers and a Fairtrade Premium which empowers communities to grow both economically and socially. Supporting famers through Fairtrade helps ensure strong farming communities who in turn become better suppliers and longer-term business partners. Putting farmers first is good for business and secures the future for the next generation of farmers, making it a viable option for them to carry on the family business.
