Easter made easy at Nisa

Nisa is supporting its retailer partners in the run up to Easter Sunday with an offer on a range of Sunday lunch essentials, helping shoppers to celebrate the traditional holiday at home for less.

Following on from a successful early Easter event, the promotion – which is available in participating stores from Wednesday 31st March - will assist Nisa retailers in making the most of the annual occasion.

The promotion features a Co-op Beef Joint for half price at just £5.24 per kg alongside a selection of perfectly paired sides from the Co-op range, including Sliced Spring Greens at 80p, Tenderstem Broccoli at £1.50, Irresistible British Lilly Potatoes at £1.20, and the award-winning Irresistible Bio Bio Valley Malbec wine 75cl at £7 a bottle.

Over half of consumers now use their regular local store for at-home celebration purchases.

In addition to the main event, shoppers will have access to a range of ‘Easter Extras’ including Colman’s Cheddar Cheese and Bread Sauce packets at 65p each, Knorr Stock Pots on a 2 for £2 deal, Bisto Beef Gravy at £2 and Co-op Easter Tulip bouquets at just £5.

A raft of sweet treats are also included in the offer; Co-op Hot Cross Buns 6pk at £1.30, Co-op Irresistible Chocolate Brioche Hot Cross Buns 4pk at £1.50, Cadbury Crème Egg Choc Cakes 6pk at £2, Co-op Irresistible Cakes in Carrot Cake and Salted Caramel variants at £2.25 each, all alongside Mr Kipling Chocolate and Orange Easter Bunny Slices 8pk and Egg Fancies 8pk at just £1.50 each.

Hannah Goodwin, seasonal manager at Nisa said: “According to the government roadmap out of lockdown, we will be in ‘Step 1’ of the phased return to normality in time for the long Easter weekend. Because of this, shoppers are likely to go the extra mile and are expected to turn to alfresco dining at home to enjoy the holiday to the fullest, if weather permits.

“Over half of consumers now use their regular local store for at-home celebration purchases, as opposed to making the trip to a larger supermarket so it is imperative that retailers provide their customers all the ingredients they will need to serve up an Easter Sunday feast.

“Just as much of an occasion for adults as it is children, it is important to display a selection of baked and confectionery goods to cater for self-eat and adult gifting. And if highlighted with the dedicated POS in a high footfall area of the store, we’re confident that the upcoming Easter promotion will result in increased basket spend for our partners.”
