Healthy eating habits helped by Nisa

As shoppers welcome in the new year by committing to healthy eating and fitness regimes, Nisa retailers are well placed to support them with a raft of great deals on superfoods and snacking.

Almost 60% of shoppers claim to be intending to adopt a healthier diet in January while participation in Veganuary, where consumers opt for a plant-based diet, continues to grow annually.

To make the most of the trend, Nisa’s independent retailers are being encouraged to highlight the healthy ranges in their stores using a host of eye-catching POS.

The healthy living event will also be promoted in Nisa consumer leaflets as well as on social media channels with some great healthy living inspired recipe content available as well as key promotions featured.

In the spirit of shoppers getting on board the new year health kick, there’s a feature on fresh fruit and vegetables as well as light, low calorie fridge and cupboard fillers.

Products include Belvita Breakfast Bars and Fibre One 90 Calorie Chocolate Fudge Brownies at £1.50, providing a saving of up to £1.49 and Co-op Ripe Avocado and Co-op Mango for £1 as well as Co-op Kiwi Fruit at 90p.

“Veganuary is also set to be a big event again in 2021 and Nisa retailers can provide a great choice for their shoppers with the increasingly popular Co-op Gro range that was introduced 12 months ago.”
