Helping to make Mondays Nisa for shoppers

A consumer competition offering shoppers the chance to win a hamper packed with Nisa’s own-label Heritage goodies has been hailed a huge success.

A record number of people took part in the social media-based contest by sharing, liking and commenting on the post on Facebook and Twitter to be in with a chance of bagging the prize.

Launched as part of an ongoing initiative to increase customer engagement and raise awareness of the Nisa brand, the hamper was offered as the winning prize on the “Nisa Monday” event across Nisa’s social media channels.

Posted on Monday 19th August the competition closed a week later on Bank Holiday Monday – 26th August - reaching almost 20,000 shoppers on Facebook and creating more than 125,000 impressions on Twitter.

Head of marketing at Nisa, Philippe Rondepierre, said: “Everybody likes to win and we thought it would be a great way to help our retailers engage with shoppers. 

“We’re delighted with the response to this particular Nisa Monday giveaway. Twitter performed exceptionally well and received nearly twice as many impressions as previous Nisa Monday events. Facebook also performed very well, achieving an above average reach and almost doubling the average number of engagements.”

The Heritage hamper is the latest prize in the Nisa Monday initiative which continues to run on the Nisa Locally Twitter and Facebook channels with weekly giveaways and competitions.

To join in the fun and be in with a chance of winning, shoppers simply need to follow Nisa Locally on Facebook or Twitter and search for the hashtag #NisaMonday.
