Nisa is continuing to support its retail partners in their quest to inspire consumers whilst they are shopping for their evening meal.
With meal inspiration being a key reason for more than 40 per cent of shoppers going into convenience stores, it’s an offering Nisa is working hard on to ensure retailers are appealing to this group of consumers.
Following in the World Food category theme, Italian cooking makes a return in November with some great offers available as part of the promotional event.
Launching in stores next week, running from Monday 12th November to Sunday 2nd December, retailers are being assisted to tap into the meal solutions shopper mission with a great range of firm favourites.
Deals available include Dolmio pasta sauce jars for £1, Barilla dried pasta and spaghetti for £1, tinned Napolina tomatoes and passata cartons for 60p as well as deals on Italian beers including Birra Moretti (4 x 330ml for £4.50) and Peroni (12 x 330ml for £14)*.
Head of marketing at Nisa, Philippe Rondepierre, said: “Research from HIM tells us that Italian cooking sauces are number one within World Foods and accounts for a 28 per cent share of the impulse market. What’s more, a massive 81 per cent of UK households buy Italian when purchasing from the World Food category.
“Our Italian meal solution offers some competitive deals which should help to increase sales and drive footfall for our retailers.”
