Making a Big Deal of the Jubilee weekend
Nisa retailers are helping shoppers to make the most of their jubilee celebrations with a brilliant ‘Big Deal’ sure to be a winner this bank holiday weekend.
The offer is just one of a wide variety being made available to shoppers ahead of the four-day weekend and comprises two British summer staples, burgers and beer, for less than half the RRP.
Landing in stores just in time for the festivities, from Wednesday 1st to Tuesday 21st June, shoppers can pick up a 4-pack of Co-op Beef Quarter Pounder Burgers and Stella Artois Unfiltered 4 x 330ml for just £4, offering a £5 saving off the RRP. As a plant-based alternative, Co-op GRO Incredible Burgers (210g) are also available in participating stores, and in non-licensed stores, Coca-Cola, Diet Coke and Coca-Cola Zero (4 x 330ml) are offered as part of the deal.
The Big Deal will be promoted via Nisa’s consumer leaflets and in-store radio, as well as supporting jubilee-themed POS to draw the attention of shoppers.
This and a raft of other offers will also be promoted online via Nisa’s website and social media channels, where shoppers will find some royally good tips on “how to host the Queen of all celebrations”, including food and drink inspiration, décor and activity suggestions and ideas to help craft the perfect party playlist.
Laura Gomersal, Nisa’s Head of Marketing, said: “As around two thirds of shoppers are planning on celebrating the much-anticipated Jubilee1, it’s important that retailers cater for this opportunity with a strong in-store offering to help them make the most of the occasion."
“The latest Big Deal provides some great value British barbecue staples, perfect for any garden get-together and offering fantastic savings for those looking for a bank holiday treat that won’t break the bank."
“And as research has found that the average shopper basket containing a burger and beer deal also includes seven other items2, from bread rolls to salads, the deal provides the perfect opportunity for retailers to drive incremental sales this Jubilee weekend.”
