Nisa has been recognised with a Gold GroceryAid award for the outstanding support given to GroceryAid during 2020.

Grocery colleagues need our emotional, financial and practical help now more than ever. In the last year GroceryAid saw a 55% increase in applications for financial support, the value of grants paid is up by 87% and there have been 74% more calls to their helpline.

Nisa supported GroceryAid through participation in key activities, further details can be seen below, and we are very proud to have done so and to have been recognised with a Gold award.

The key activities Nisa participated in to help win this great award were 'Awareness' - help the charity by raising awareness so that all colleagues know about the support available to them, 'Fundraising' - attending events raises funds and can meet business CSR, networking and brand building objectives & finally 'Volunteering' - our volunteers are key contributors to the charity with many ways to get involved to help.
