Nisa leading the way within holiday parks as Bourne Leisure extends deal

Nisa is reporting continued growth within their holiday park convenience store portfolio with retailer Bourne Leisure extending their contract with the independent retail and wholesale specialist.

Nisa currently supplies 177 holiday park convenience stores across the UK with 12 signed up so far in 2023 – the strongest year of recruitment since the pandemic.

Sales in Nisa’s holiday park convenience estate rose by over 30% in 2022 with improved figures set to continue this year with staycations continuing to be popular following the pandemic. Alongside Bourne Leisure, Nisa also supplies major holiday parks such as Center Parcs and J&J Wilson amongst many others.

Bourne Leisure - the parent company of Haven Holidays and Warner Leisure Hotels - employs more than 16,000 staff and attracts 4.5 million guests to 56 sites across the UK every year.

A successful six-year partnership with Nisa across 49 stores owned by Bourne Leisure has recently been extended with two stores in Thorpe Park and Perran Sands taking on Nisa fascia as part of the new deal.

Bill Marney, Grocery Category Development Manager at Bourne Leisure, explained: “The Nisa brand is well known across the country from the high street so incorporating the Nisa fascia makes an obvious connection for customers who are seeking value.

“These were two of the stores we felt would benefit most to make the shopping environment as inviting as possible for our guests and owners.

“Access to a comprehensive range of products is essential to us given we have such a range of stores across our estate. Our partnership has so far worked successfully in driving a strong sales performance, so we were really keen to continue the relationship.”

Key to the Nisa proposition for many years has been the strong own brand offering available through Co-op products. Bill admitted with customers searching for value more than ever at the moment, own brand products were crucial to the success of the stores.
