Nisa preparing partners for Jubilee crowds
As consumers across the UK start to prepare for joyous Jubilee celebrations, Nisa is providing partners with a variety of deals on perfect tea party picks to help drive sales ahead of the long-awaited occasion.
To enable retailers to make the most of potential sales opportunities in the lead up to and during the four-day weekend, a raft of great deals has been made available on a selection of get together essentials and licensed products, all of which are sure to help shoppers get the patio parties and street soirees underway.
Landing in partner stores tomorrow (Wednesday 1st June), just in time for the celebrations, shoppers can stock up on buffet favourites for less, including Walkers Sensations Thai Sweet Chilli 150g for £1.25, Co-op Strawberries punnet for £2.29, Co-op Single Cream 300ml for £1.22, Co-op Irresistible Carrot Cake for £2.50 and Pepsi Max 2ltr for £1.60 a bottle.
“Research reveals that two thirds of shoppers are planning on celebrating the much anticipated Jubilee weekend1, so it’s important that retailers are well-stocked and offering a range of quick and east sharing eats that both hosts and guests can pick up for a range of activities including street parties, afternoon tea, and picnics,” said Laura O’Hearne, Nisa’s Promotional Manager.
Running alongside the food deals are a selection of offers on beers, ciders and wines including San Miguel 10x440ml at £10, Thatchers Blood Orange Cider 4x440ml at £5.50, Adeletto Prosecco 75cl at £7.50, and a range of Schweppes 1ltr mixers on a 3 for £4 multibuy.
Should the sun be shining for the occasion, Nisa’s latest ‘Big Deal’ will be tempting shoppers to bring out the barbecue, comprising four Co-op Beef Quarter Pounder burgers or Co-op GRO Incredible burgers, and the choice of a four-pack of Stella Artois Unfiltered 330ml (excludes Scotland and non-licensed stores) or four Coca-Cola 250ml in Regular, Diet or Zero for just £4.00.
And offers on burger-building extras, including Hellman’s Real Mayonnaise 430ml for £2 and Florette Mixed Salad 180g for £1 a bag, compliment the deal perfectly.
O’Hearne added: “The Jubilee weekend is expected to be one of the biggest calendar events of the year so retailers should prepare for a significant rise in footfall over the coming few days and throughout the four-day event."
“Many shoppers will be on spontaneous last minute missions, so we would advise that shelves are being replenished regularly and point of sale is placed in high footfall areas to grab the attention of all customers and provide maximum exposure to the great deals that are available.”
