Nisa provides retailers with a taste of the orient for less
Nisa is supporting its retail partners this month by serving up a taste of the orient for less with their latest Meal for Tonight promotion.
With research showing that over half of all shoppers head to their local convenience store for meal inspiration and purchase on impulse, Nisa is ensuring its retailers are appealing to this important group of consumers that are on the hunt for quick but tasty meals.
The mix and match event launches in stores today (Wednesday 12th May) and features a choice of Co-op vegetable stir fry bag; Mixed Vegetable, Rainbow Vegetable, Mushroom or Chinese, with either Co-op Egg Noodles, Co-op Rice Noodles or Co-op Beansprouts, alongside a Co-op packet sauce in Chow Mein, Sweet Chilli & Ginger or Plum & Hoisin flavour, all on 3 for £2.50 - perfect for those looking for a taste of the orient for less.
To perfectly complement the offer shoppers can also pick up a pack of Co-op British Chicken Fillets 300g for just £2.85, creating a complete meal solution for the family.
Phil Hancock, wholesale category controller at Nisa said: “As consumers continue to gain confidence in leaving the house again and begin venturing to the shops, many will be on the lookout for great deals on easy-to-prepare meal solutions that don’t break the bank.
65% of shoppers agree that world cuisine meals are a great way to bring the family together at mealtimes*, and by providing a range of flavours and ingredients, this promotion allows customers to create their own perfect stir fry.
With more than half of all shoppers purchasing meal solutions impulsively, we’re confident that placing promotions like this one in high footfall areas of the store and utilising the dedicated POS will result in increased basket spend for our partners.”
