Nisa retailers and suppliers acknowledged at spectacular gala dinner

Nisa retailers and suppliers have been acknowledged at Nisa’s annual gala dinner for their outstanding efforts over the last year. On Tuesday 2nd April, following the first day of Nisa’s much-anticipated retail exhibition, NAEC Stoneleigh in Warwickshire played host to a dazzling ‘under the sea’ themed awards evening and gala dinner with more than 900 guests in attendance. The evening saw three Nisa partners take home coveted Store of the Year awards for their retailing excellence and innovation, with Blossom Enterprises (Nisa Local St. Catherine’s Hill in Christchurch) presented with the under 1,500 sq. ft. award; Proudfoot Manham Hill with the 1,500 – 3,000 sq. ft. award and Dike and Son Nisa Extra in Stalbridge scooping the over 3,000 sq. ft. accolade. Two retailers were also honoured with Own Brand Retailer of the Year awards, as The Snooty Fox, Shalford and Williams of Somerton picked up the under 1,500 sq. ft. and over 1,500 sq. ft. awards respectively. This year’s event saw the introduction of the Newcomer of the Year award, which was won by Whitehills Supermarket in Northampton for its significant development and improvements since joining Nisa last year. Also acknowledged with awards on the night were three retailers who have made an exceptional contribution to their local community through Nisa’s Making a Difference Locally charity and any additional activity. Bradley’s Supermarket in Loughborough was awarded MADL Charity Champion (under 3,000 sq. ft.) whilst CK Supermarket in Llandeilo won the over 3,000 sq. ft. award for their outstanding charitable efforts.
