Nisa signs up 500th partner onto new rebate scheme
Fresh Rewards, the new rebates proposition available to Nisa partners, has been warmly welcomed by retailers keen to embrace the simplified model.
Set to go live on 28th June, the 500th partner has now signed up to the terms which gives them the potential to unlock up to 5.5% in rebates.
To make it even easier for partners, those who sign up to Fresh Rewards by close of play June 21st will not have to complete the SIA Retail Academy Training Criteria within the Symbol Group Development criteria for Quarter 2. Depending on the store size, this could save several hours of training.
Hasan Alkan joined Nisa Retail from another symbol group two years ago and said he was happy to sign up to Fresh Rewards.
The model is built on simplicity and fairness, making it easier for retailers to see how much they could potentially earn and allowing them to focus on driving their businesses forward.
Having extended and refurbished his store in Bournemouth, Hasan adopted a Nisa Local fascia and introduced a broad range of Co-op own brand products into his offer. He said Fresh Rewards is a great solution for his business.
“We’re happy with the terms on offer and I think it will definitely work for us. We spend a lot with Nisa and can easily hit the required targets,” he said.
An independent retailer for more than 30 years, Hasan invested heavily in his new store, doubling it in size and creating a destination shop with more than 400 Co-op lines including a strong fresh offer.
“Before our refurbishment people were using us as an emergency shop for last minute items but now they come in to buy their groceries and basket spend has increased dramatically. Weekly turnover has almost doubled, and sales continue to be strong week on week.
“Our customers are very happy with our range and really like the Co-op products - the prices are good, and we get good margins.”
Fresh Rewards provide the opportunity for partners to unlock up to 5.5% rebate and can earn more based on their weekly spend, embracing Co-op own brand products and being a Nisa or co-branded fascia.
