Retailers report being very ‘appy’ with new Nisa tool

The new Nisa mobile app is proving a huge hit with retailers after more than 1,000 partners signed up for it since it launched two weeks ago.

The app, which is free to download from the Apple Store and Google Play, has been downloaded and registered on almost 2,000 devices as partners make use of both mobile phones and tablets to benefit from the new technology.

The app is so good and even friendly for me to use as someone who struggles with technology. Nisa has really made it easy.

Around 2,200 standard orders have been placed directly via the app accounting for 146,000 cases of products and an additional £62,000 in orders have been placed on special “app only” deals.

Feedback from Nisa partners has been very positive including reports from retailers who have confessed to usually struggling with modern technology and IT related matters.

One retailer stated: “The app is so good and even friendly for me to use as someone who struggles with technology. Nisa has really made it easy.”

Another partner, Manny Dhindsa in Sunderland, said: “I’ve just used the app for my ambient order. It was very easy with a good scanner that gives you options for products and tells you at the end if anything has been rejected. It’s very, very good.”

Peter Walker, head of IT at Nisa, said: “The partners who trialled the app were very complimentary about it and found it a very simple tool to use and so we were hopeful we would receive a similar response from the rest of our partners once it was rolled out.
“We are absolutely delighted to be getting such positive feedback from partners. The number of orders being placed directly by the app is a very good indicator that those who have downloaded it are finding it easy to use and are seeing the immediate benefits it offers.

“The key aim of the new app was to make it easier for partners to trade with us and that is exactly what they are reporting back to us.”
