Stoneleigh Success

Nisa’s annual trade show exhibition, held over two days at the National Agricultural Exhibition Centre in Stoneleigh, Warwickshire last week, has been hailed a huge success.

The event sold out in record time with the number of exhibitor stands increased to enable additional suppliers to attend and the gala dinner expanded to accommodate more guests.

The 2018 event saw more Nisa Retail members attending with guest numbers up by 11 per cent compared to last year.

Dozens of prospective members attended the exhibition to meet with the Nisa Recruitment Team leading to 40 signing up to Nisa Retail at the show, compared to 23 last year.

A total of 14 members also signed up to the Nisa Epositive Evolution system, entitling them to free installation.

And the 4,000 sq. ft. Stoneleigh store, which showcased the latest in convenience store format using Nisa’s flexible modular format, really impressed retailers. So much so that one Nisa member bought the entire store, another bought all the ambient stock within the store and numerous other members ordered different elements of the shop fittings for development of their existing stores.

The event was played out on social media with hundreds of tweets shared using the hashtag #NisaExpo creating almost 2,000 engagements over the two days and more than 30,000 organic impressions.

Sales Director at Nisa, Steve Leach said: “We are absolutely delighted by how well Stoneleigh went this year. An incredible amount of work goes into making the exhibition a success and the feedback we have received from members and suppliers has been great in terms of sentiment.

“There was a real buzz of excitement at the show with current members genuinely impressed by the Store of the Future 2 and all the possibilities it offers as well as prospective members keen to sign up with Nisa. It really was one of our biggest and best shows yet.”
