The Big Countdown continues
A raft of competitive deals with a strong focus on value continue to be unveiled by Nisa as the countdown to Christmas continues.
Launched at the end of summer, with the first offer available in store for shoppers from mid-September, the 16-week Big Countdown campaign is supporting Nisa partners in demonstrating a strong focus on value as financial pressures continue to cause concerns for shoppers.
The campaign has so far provided Nisa partners with 14 market-leading deals covering a wide range of products on one-week-only offers that will keep landing in store for shoppers until the first week of 2021.
Branded soft drinks, breakfast cereal, coffee, crisps, toilet roll, Prosecco, gin and chocolates have all featured in the weekly offers, providing independent Nisa retailers with some excellent sales opportunities in the run up to the year end.
The 2020 countdown campaign started early this year to ensure retailers were able to make the most of it for longer and provided ample time for them to demonstrate to their customers the range of good value offers in store.
Hannah Goodwin, seasonal manager at Nisa, said: “It continues to be an uncertain time for many shoppers. Covid is not going away anytime soon and with that the economic situation remains unstable. And so, it’s more important than ever, as we approach Christmas, that Nisa partners can offer strong deals to their customers that present great value.
“The Big Countdown campaign forms an integral part of Nisa’s plan to better support partners and their customers during these uncertain times.”
All Big Countdown deals have featured on the Nisa consumer leaflet, in national press adverts, on Nisa FM and across all digital channels and is also be supported with in-store point-of-sale.
Deals have included Douwe Egberts coffee half price at £1.94, 16-pk Andrex toilet roll for £5, Nestle Cheerios 300g for £1 and Baileys Irish Cream 70cl for £10.
