MADL Heart of the Community

Co-op Wholesale affiliated retailers can nominate local charities/ good causes at the heart of their community.

There is £250,000 available in the fund for community groups and small charities to receive up to £1,000.

 
Applications can only be made by Co-op Wholesale affiliated retailers; all accounts must be compliant with MADL donations policy and have made a recent donation/ not have large amounts of un-donated funds. Please complete form in lower case.

Please note only 1 application can be made per active store. Only the first application received per store will be considered.

Only Charities with an income below £1 Million are eligible to receive a donation. After the closing date all nominated causes will be contacted for further information prior to judging to give equal opportunity for causes to tell the judges about themselves.

Terms and Conditions
•    All applications will be reviewed after the closing date.
•    The judges’ decision is final, and no alternative prizes will be offered.
•    Funding is available for up to £1,000; the amount awarded may be less.
•    Applications are only accepted from Co-op wholesale partners.
•    Applications close on 6 February 2026 at 4:00 pm. We reserve the right to close earlier if all funding has been allocated.
•    Only one donation per active store will be considered (must comply with the donations policy and not have large amounts of un-donated funds).
•    All usual MADL governance applies.
•    “Community group” refers to registered charities, community groups, and good causes working for community benefit.
