Chocolate cornflake cake
A traditional Easter bake that's loved by all
- 180g Kelloggs's Cornflakes
- 200g Dr Oetker Chocolate (Milk/Dark/White)
- 6 tablespoons of golden syrup
- 120g unsalted butter
- 1 bag of mini eggs
Start with breaking up the chocolate into small pieces and cutting up the butter into chunks.
Melt the butter and chocolate in a pan over a low heat, and stir in the syrup till it's all combined.
Take the pan off the heat and then scoop the cornflakes into the chocolate mix.
Stir gently until all the cornflakes are covered.
Spoon the mixture into a bowl and then place the bowl upside down on a baking tray or plate
Store in the fridge to set for half an hour
Decorate with mini eggs and serve with a cup of tea!
