Chocolate krispie cakes
A classic Easter recipe that's a firm favourite with all the family.
- 180g Kelloggs's Rice Krispies
- 200g Dr Oetker Chocolate (Milk/Dark/White)
- 6 tablespoons of golden syrup
- 120g unsalted butter
- 1 bag of mini eggs
- 24 Dr Oetker baking cases
Begin by breaking up your chocolate into small pieces and cutting your butter into square chunks.
Place both the butter and chocolate into a saucepan over a low heat, stirring until they've both melted.
Add the syrup and stir till it's mixed in.
Pour your Kelloggs Rice Krispies into the chocolate mix and gently stir until they're all covered.
Spoon the mixture into the Dr Oetker baking cases
Decoratively place Mini Eggs onto each cake
Place in the fridge to set.
Top-tip: Why not get creative with your toppings, try mixing in Smarties if you opt for white chocolate or crushing some Creme Eggs.
