Cinnamon apple crumble
- 125g butter
- 125g sugar
- 2 eggs
- 150g self raising flour
- 350g apples (roughly 2 apples)
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 125g self raising flour
- 75g butter
- 75g brown sugar
- 1 tsp milk Raisins (optional)
1.Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Cream the butter and sugar.
Beat in the eggs, one at a time.
Fold in the flour.
Place in an oiled baking tin, and set aside.
1. Cube the apples and drizzle lemon juice to prevent oxidation, then place on top of the batter in the baking tin (add the raisins in if using any).
Mix the butter, sugar, cinnamon, milk and self-raising flour together in a bowl.
When the mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs, sprinkle it over the apples.
Bake in the oven for one hour, or until a skewer comes out clean.
Serve hot with ice cream or cream.
