Crispy Sweet Potato Fries
Try your hand at our quick and easy crispy sweet potato fries. Perfect with a burger!
- 450g sweet potatoes, scrubbed clean, skins on
- 2 tbsp virgin olive oil
- 2 tsp coconut flour
- ½ tsp sea salt
Slice the sweet potatoes into chip shapes, making them as chunky or thin as you like. Place in a bowl of ice water to soak for one hour.
Preheat the oven to 220°C/200 fan/gas mark 7 and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Drain the potatoes and place on a paper towel to dry.
Put the potatoes, one tablespoon of olive oil, coconut flour, and the remaining teaspoon of salt in a bowl and toss together. Make sure all the potatoes are coated.
Drizzle the remaining oil over the parchment lined baking sheet.
Evenly space fries on the baking sheet and do not let any overlap. Otherwise the fries will bake unevenly and become soggy.
Bake for 10 minutes, flip, and bake another 10 minutes.
