
Easy Yorkshire puddings
Yorkshire puddings are a breeze to make and finish off your Sunday roast beautifully. Our easy recipe takes no time at all and just requires a little patience.

What you'll need
- 140g plain flour
- 200ml milk
- Zest of 2 lemons
- Sunflower oil
Method
Makes 8 large Yorkshire puddings
Step 1.
Heat your oven to 230c/210 fan/gas mark 8.
Step 2.
Drizzle sunflower oil into a Yorkshire pudding tin.
Step 3.
Tip the flour into a bowl and beat in the eggs until smooth.
Step 4.
Slowly add the milk and keep beating the mix until it’s free of lumps. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 5.
Pour the batter into a jug. Take the hot tins out of the oven and evenly pour the batter into the moulds.
Step 6.
Put the tin back in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes. Don’t open the oven to check on them! The Yorkshires are ready when they’re puffed up and brown.
