Grilled Nutella and banana sandwiches
Toasties aren’t just a savoury dish! This chocolately and gooey Nutella and banana sandwich is indulgent and delicious.
- 2 slices of bread
- 4 tbsp Nutella
- 1 Heritage banana, sliced
- 2 tbsp sunflower oil
Heat up a skillet or frying pan on a medium heat.
Spread the oil on the outside faces of the bread. Spread Nutella on the inside faces of the bread. Arrange the banana slices on top of one of the inside pieces of bread, and then put the two together to make a sandwich.
Place the sandwiches down on the pan and grill until golden - which should take approximately 3 minutes. Flip the sandwich over and repeat for the other side. If they start to turn overly brown, turn down the heat. Afterwards, slice in half and serve. Yum!
