Honey Mustard Roast Parsnips
Make the perfect honey roast parsnips - a golden delicious treat to add to your Sunday Roast and super-easy to make.
- 1 pack parsnips
- 2 tsp English mustard
- 2 tbsp plain flour
- 4 tbsp oil
- 3 tsp clear honey
- A little salt and pepper
Chop your parsnips into quarters and then boil in a saucepan for 5 minutes, to soften.
Preheat the oven to 220°C.
Combine mustard powder with flour and add a little salt and pepper, for flavour.
Pop your parsnip quarters in the mix and toss in the flour thoroughly until they’re fully coated.
Pop your parsnips in an oiled baking tray, drizzle a little more oil on top and then roast for 30 minutes until they’re crisped and golden.
Remove from the oven and drizzle some honey on top of the parsnips, making sure all have a thin coating. Then, return to the oven for a further five minutes to allow the honey to set. Serve!
