
How to make spicy Buffalo Honey Chicken Wings
- 1.75kg chicken wings
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 250ml hot sauce
- 25g brown sugar
- 175ml clear honey
- 1 tbsp cornflour
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
As if these weren’t perfect already, they can be even more perfect with some blue cheese or sweet chilli dipping sauce.
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and line a baking sheet pan with foil.
Coat the chicken wings evenly with the salt, pepper and baking powder; plastic zip-close bags may be useful for this.
Bake in the oven for 50 minutes.
Before the wings are baked, add all the sauce ingredients to a saucepan. Whisk all of this together over a medium heat for 4 minutes until thickened. Baste the completed sauce onto the wings.
