A classic, dated back to the 1930’s - this margarita recipe is simple but tasty. Serve ice cold and in a salt-rimmed glass for an authentic margarita experience.

What you'll need
  • 50ml tequila
  • 25ml lime juice
  • 20ml triple sec (such as Cointreau)
  • 2 lime wedges
  • Salt
Step 1.

Sprinkle the salt over a small plate. Rub one of the lime wedges along the rim of a glass, then dip into the salt.

Step 2.

Add the tequila, lime juice and triple sec to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake well.

Step 3.

Pour the mix into the glass over fresh ice. Serve with the remaining lime wedge, and enjoy!
