Pork steaks & minted bean mash

What you'll need
  • 2 x 410g cans butter beans, drained and rinsed
  • 6 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • Juice of 1 small lemon
  • Small handful mint leaves, roughly chopped
  • 4 pork steaks

Put the butter beans, 4 tbsp of the oil, the garlic and 3 tbsp of water into a pan and heat through. 


Roughly mash the beans with a potato masher, stir in the lemon juice and mint, and season to taste.


Grill the pork steaks and serve on a bed of the mash.
