Sautéed green beans and tomatoes
Serve up a taste of summer with this flavoursome side dish. Perfect with most dinners or as part of a garden party spread.
- 6 Co-op tomatoes, halved
- 200g Co-op dwarf beans, trimmed
- 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Bring a large pan of salted water to the boil, then add the trimmed green beans.
Cook for up to 8 minutes until tender. Drain the water and set aside.
Heat the oil in a large frying pan, then add the chopped garlic. You’ll want to cook it quickly until it is lightly browned - be careful not to burn the garlic at this point.
Add the cooked beans and tomatoes, stirring well to combine with the garlic.
Once the tomatoes are soft, remove from the heat and tip into a serving bowl.
Finish with a sprinkling of salt and enjoy!
