Steak and chips
Enjoy a steak night for two with this simple recipe. Garnish and serve with a homemade steak sauce to make it extra posh!
- 2 Co-op ranch steaks
- 250g Co-op skinny fries
- Vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper, to season
- Steak sauce, to serve (optional)
Take the steak out of the fridge 20 minutes before cooking to bring it to room temperature.
Drizzle the uncooked steak with vegetable oil on both sides, massaging in to cover all areas. Season well with salt and pepper.
Meanwhile, cook the fries according to pack instructions.
Add the steaks to a hot frying pan and sear on each side until cooked to your desired doneness. This should take between 3-5 minutes.
Serve up and enjoy! Why not garnish with fresh herbs and homemade steak sauce?
