Strawberry and custard cream pots
This delicious dessert is perfect for garden parties while you enjoy the tennis. Serve with a champagne cocktail for a decadent taste of summer.
- 1 pack strawberries
- 2 tbsp strawberry jam
- 300ml double cream
- 1 tbsp icing sugar
- A little vanilla ice cream
- Some custard creams, crushed
Wash and remove the green stem from the strawberries.
Slice into quarters.
Whisk the cream and icing sugar together in a large bowl until it thickens.
Dollop in the strawberry jam and give it another stir.
Line your glass (or bowl) with chopped strawberries.
Add a couple of scoops of vanilla ice cream, followed by the cream and jam mixture.
Sprinkle over the custard creams and finally top with more strawberries.
Chill in the fridge until ready to eat.
