Mini pizza bread

No one can resist pizza - especially when they’re packed with all your favourite toppings. Our recipe is simple to follow, and easy as 1-2-3 - so get the little ones involved!

What you'll need
  • 6 slices of bread (or however many you want - just make sure to increase or reduce the below amounts accordingly!)
  • 85g tomato sauce
  • 170 cherry tomatoes
  • 170g Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 5 fresh basil leaves, chopped (optional)
  • Your favourite toppings - perhaps some ham, pepperoni, sweetcorn, or - if you’re a fan - pineapple?
Method
Step 1

Heat your oven to 200C/180 fan/gas mark 6.

Step 2

Lightly toast your bread so it’s firm but not coloured.

Step 3

Slice your cheese and cherry tomatoes. Arrange the slices of bread on a baking tray lined with baking paper.

Step 4

Spread the tomato sauce over one side of each piece of bread. Sprinkle the oregano over.

Step 5

Add the slices of cheese to each piece of bread, followed by your favourite toppings.

Step 6

Pop them in the oven until the cheese melts - usually around 10 minutes. Sprinkle the basil on top and enjoy!
