Super-simple Maple Bacon Crack Bites
Never tasted the deliciousness of bacon crack? This to-die-for, caramelised, crispy treat will definitely make you a convert. Our recipe produces a batch of bacon crack bites that are perfect for sharing during the big game (if you’re feeling generous). Bacon lovers, rejoice!
- 1 packet dough sheet
- 500g bacon
- 170g maple syrup
- 165g brown sugar
Preheat your oven to 320C.
Line a baking tray with foil. Grease the foil with cooking spray and roll the dough sheet onto it. Make sure any perforations are sealed.
Cook your bacon until it’s almost done. It should be lighter in colour, but not crispy. Cut it into pieces.
Pour half of the maple syrup over the rolled out dough, followed by a third of the sugar.
Place the bacon pieces evenly on top of the syrup-y, sugary dough.
Use the remaining maple syrup and sugar to top the bacon pieces.
