Perfectly pink gin martini
This gin martini is perfect if you want to show off your mixology skills and is a year-round cocktail. Impress someone special on Valentine’s Day with the colour of love, or gently sip it in the summer sunshine.
- 50ml pink gin
- 30ml triple sec or Cointreau
- 50ml cranberry juice
- 30ml lemon juice
- Orange peel to garnish
Chill a cocktail glass in the freezer. We prefer to use coupe glasses for this recipe (round, stemmed cocktail glasses) but a tall glass will work too.
Add ice to separate glass and pour over all the ingredients except the orange peel.
Stir the ingredients for about 60 seconds until nicely chilled.
Take your chilled glass out the freezer. Use a cocktail strainer to strain into the glass.
If you don’t have a cocktail strainer, place a sieve over a jug and pour the cocktail in. Then transfer to the glass.
Finish with a twirly piece of orange peel.
